Job swalled life for a few months there. Things seem to be a little more under control. These past few months have been stressful and when I arrived home from work, I never felt as though I had the mental energy needed to concentrate fully on "seeing" carefully. These two drawings were done over the last couple days. Although I see room to see more carefully, just getting lost in time doing the drawings was fantastic.

EDM Challenge #102 - Draw a Plug

This is my first Everyday Matters Challenge. This is the plug to the power pack for the laptop that belongs to work. Even as I was drawing the upper prong, I realized it should have been a little closer to the lower prong. Oh well. Learning to see, one drawing at a time. :)

Zywiec Beer

I enjoyed a bottle of this last night while I drew the label. Very yummy.

Wood Stove

This is our woodstove at the cottage. There's nothing like sitting by it with a glass of wine on a Friday night, knowing you made it through another week.

Pliers

These pliers live in the tool box at the cottage. Don't know where they came from, but we've had them for ages. In our first house, we had an old bathroom. When the handle to the hot water faucet in the shower came off, they lived in the shower for a couple years so we could use them to turn the hot water on and off. We built a new house not long after that and they pliers are now retired to the lake for odd jobs now and again.

Chubby Snowman Ornament

I'm not much into Christmas ornaments, (we haven't put up a tree in at least five years), but I do like snowmen. They're jolly and festive and can stay around as long as there's snow on the ground. This little fellow lives at the lake and hangs off the beak of the wooden crane Mike's sister gave us all winter long.
